Hi @tamin2017. What is the URL of your site? Is it hosted here at WordPress.com?

Hi @kleyhalisson – the URL is http://www.thecheeseclub.nz . I was able to access the back end by typing thecheeseclub.nz/wp-admin but now it doesn’t work as the domain has been changed.

  • Hi there,

Your site is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress software at another hosting provider. So our IP addresses won’t help you – all that will do is make your domain go to an error page that says the domain isn’t connected to WordPress.com.

Your domain should be pointed at your hosting provider’s IP address.

Your domain is registered with Crazydomains.com, and using their name servers, but it looks like at the moment it has an IP address set that points to the hosting provider, https://www.dreamscapenetworks.com/

I was able to access the back end by typing thecheeseclub.nz/wp-admin but now it doesn’t work as the domain has been changed.

Did you perhaps change the website URL under Setting ->General in the dashboard? If so, this has nothing to do with what IP your domain is pointed to.

Changing the domain on a stand-alone WordPress site like yours has to follow a specific process. You can find the documentation for that process here, though many hosting providers have their own process for this via their hosting control panel.

Depending on your setup, you might be able to fix this yourself using those instructions. If not, please contact your hosting provider directly for help getting your site reconnected to your domain.
