Switched from WordPress.com to WordPress.org, plug ins?
-
I had created my website orginally as wordpress.com hosted page. Once I realized it was a much better option than what I was doing with my current website, I remapped my host and domain to use my new wordpress web site as my current site, so now it is a wordpress.org page. The mapping worked correctly in that the domain name has directed to my new wordpress web site. However, when I am on my dashboard, it is still reading my wordpress.com site, and thus not allowing me to add plug ins. How do I enable plug ins?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This blog http://juniorleagueofpensacola.org/ is still being free hosted by WordPress.com.
Please read > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
There is no FTP access and no plugin capability on free hosted WordPress.com blogs.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/There is no upgrade you can purchase that changes this. FTP access, and plugins are available only for VIP bloggers http://vip.wordpress.com/our-services/ or for those with WordPress.ORG installs.

I had my other domain, juniorleagueofpensacola.org redirected and it goes to the same site. Do I have to just delete the wordpress.com hosted site and start over using that domain name from the beginnings?

If you think you need plugins then you will have to hire a web shot http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and move you content into a WordPress.org install by export and import.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/blogroll/import-export-links/Then if you’ve registered your domain through WordPress.com and now want it to point to a blog or website hosted elsewhere then you can do this by updating the nameservers.

DON’T DELETE ANYTHING!!!!
It is not the extension (.ORG) it is where the blog is hosted (WordPress.COM now) – that has to do with Plug-in’s
