Switched our DNS and can’t access old site
-
Hi! My company used to have a site hosted on WordPress, but we recently underwent a re-brand and moved CMS’s under the recommendation from our design agency. Is there any way to access the site we previously had on wordpress? I know it wouldn’t be public, since the domain now routes to our new site, but I tried to log in and it seems there is no trace of our previous site in wordpress. Ideally, we’d like to pay to have the site available as a staging or non-public site for 30 days or so and we wrap up any further migrations needed.
I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

Hey there, if the site was previously hosted here with us, there’s a good chance it still exists on our service. Can you send the address so we can check?
If you had a free copy of the WordPress software with another host, you’ll want to check in with that host. If it’s still on their servers, they can likely help you change the address so you can access it.

https://wordpress.com/go/website-building/wordpress-com-vs-wordpress-org/Basically we provide SSL hosting, maintenance, security, spam filtering, etc. Our paid plans get direct support, and we have this community forum for those who use our free tier hosting. Let us know if you have any questions for us. Cheers!

Thanks for that. Since your site was not hosted with us, we’re limited in what we can help with and advise. But I can get you pointed in the right direction to get help.
Looking up your site’s past DNS history, it looks like you may have been hosted with Siteground at one point. If you kept that hosting it’s likely they still have your WordPress install on their servers. I’d recommend reaching out to them for more information.
If you cancelled that hosting when you switched to the new CMS, Siteground may have purged your data from their servers, but it doesn’t hurt to double-check.
I hope that clarifies things!
