Switching Between Plans?

  Hello we created our website for an event next June. I am wondering if we could signup for a peronal account ($4) then when the year is up (because you are billed yearly) we can change our subscription to free? We only need our website for the event and once it’s over we don’t need the benefits of the personal account but would like to still have it up.

  Upgraded plans are charged annually in advance. Did you wish to purchase a Personal plan to benefit from a custom domain and no ads? You can revert to a free plan after one year with the underlying subdomain ending in .wordpress.com and with the site displaying adverts.
