Switching DNS to WordPress

  I have a website that I bought the domain through weebly.com. I have been emailing them and asking them to help me to change the dns and I haven’t heard back from them. Do you have any advice from other people who have switched from weebly to word press. I tried doing it myself and it’s not pointing to wordpress. Help please!

  To direct your domain here, you’ll need to change your nameservers as detailed at http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

  It looks like you can change your nameservers following the guide at http://kb.weebly.com/domain-settings.html

  THank you so much! That helped a lot!

  I think I successfully redirected my dns to my new word press site instead of weebly, my old site. I paid the 12 dollars to do the mapping, but when I go to herloveofthegame.com, it still takes me to the weebly site. I think it might take up to 72 hours to take affect, i’m just worried I did something wrong. I added the wordpress domain name servers 1, 2, and 3. I didn’t add a new IP address? Should I have done that? I just want to make sure I did everything right.

  http://herloveofthegame.com/ appears to be working well for me now, so it looks like it’s just the waiting game. :)
