Switching domain from WordPress to Squarespace

  I followed the directions Squarespace provided to create a new CNAME, so that the domain I purchased from WordPress will direct to the new website I’m building on Squarespace -but when I try to put the “Host” in, I just get an error that the name is invalid.

  I also looked up and attempted to find the option to “Transfer Domain” but it’s nowhere to be found.

  I’d also really like to just to an actual WordPress employee/tech… I’ve scoured the site, is there an email or chat that I’ve somehow missed??
