switching domain names between blogs

    I purchased 52at52.net last year and it is time to renew it. However, I want it to point to a different blog and I want to purchase another name that will point to the blog that is currently 52at52. I’m confused in what order I should do this. I haven’t started the new blog yet because I don’t want to screw this up! Any suggestions/helpful tips will be most appreciated.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    I don’t think it matters a great deal since the mapping takes only a few minutes to do

    I would probably buy the new domain name and point it to the blog you want it to go to – then change the mapping for the existing domain name to the new blog – you can have more than one domain name mapped to the same blog so that is not an issue – you can only have one “Primary” domain name per web site / blog (the name visitors see in their browser address bar)

    Thank you. Wish I had waited for an answer! I purchased the new domain name but inadvertently mapped it to blog other than the one I wanted it to go to and now when I try to map it to 52at52, it says “this domain name is already in use” or something to that effect.
