Switching domain names: How do you move your content to your new address?

  It seems that with a new name, I’ve started a new blog, which I don’t want. How do you move your content to your new blog…especially if you have already started writing in the new blog?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Export from the old blog
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/

  Import into the new blog
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/

  Don’t delete the old blog – set to private – clear content etc and put a not that you have moved on the front page – don’t have duplicate content – search engines don’t like it – you could also buy a redirect to send traffic from the old site to the new one if you want
