switching domain payment

  Hi,

  I am trying to move my domain from squarespace to wordpress, but ever time I try to do this I have to pay to be a premium member which I don’t otherwise need. Is there any way to switch my domain with out being a premium member? and if not why do I have to be a premium member just to switch to a domain I already own

  Hi!

  If you want to transfer your domain to WordPress.com, it’s necessary to subscribe to a plan, as registering, transferring or mapping a domain are characteristics that are outside of the free plan. Any plan would do, not only the Premium one, so maybe the Personal plan is more fit for what you need.

  I’m afraid that right now there’s no way of using your domain in WordPress.com without subscribing to a plan.
