Switching domains

  I am trying to switch my site to a domain I already own. I created a blog with a less desirable domain without realizing that I made a domain I actually wanted a while ago. I just need to switch my site to a domain I’ve already created.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Please provide the URL starting with https:// of the site you want to move content into so I can provide correct instructions.

  Are you trying to move your site from one free WordPress.com address to another? You can do that with our export and import tools:

  Import

  If you are trying to connect your WordPress.com site to a custom domain you bought somewhere else, you need the domain mapping upgrade:

  Use a Domain You Already Own (Domain Mapping)
