Switching domains after you’ve already selected one to forward to?
-
Hello. I have used domain mapping already and have forwarded a domain name to my blog already. I want to now switch the domain name used and forward my blog to that domain name now? I’ve already paid the $10 and picked the domain, but can I switch? Every time I try to add a new domain to the list and then use that as my primary, it says I have to pay the $10 bucks again to add a domain.
Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give me.

My uneducated guess is that domain mapping is domain specific and ends after a year, but I’d contact Support direct, since this isn’t something the forum volunteers can assist with. http://support.wordpress.com/contact/

The $10 is per domain you map to your wordpress.com blog. If you want to add more domains or want to switch the domain mapping to a different domain name (because you changed your mind or whatever), that’s another $10.
