Switching email domain from titan to proton

    I want to switch the email I got with my wordpress website domain from titan to proton. What is the easiest way to go about this?

    If you’d like to switch your domain email from Titan to Proton, here’s a way to do it:

    1. Back up your Titan mailbox – The easiest method is to connect it to an email client (like Outlook, Thunderbird, or Apple Mail) and download all your messages locally. This ensures you don’t lose anything during the switch.
    2. Create your Proton account – Sign up with Proton and set up your email address (you can use the same address you had with Titan).
    3. Update your domain DNS – Remove the Titan records (MX, SPF, DKIM, etc.) and replace them with Proton’s. Proton will give you the exact DNS records you need to add.
    4. Restore your emails – Use the same email client to import the emails you downloaded from Titan into your Proton inbox.

    Once DNS changes finish propagating, new emails will start arriving in your Proton account.
