switching from blogger to wordpress

  I have a blog on wordpress registered under a .com domain name. I want to switch it to wordpress but I am scared I will loose all my google friend connect followes in the Process. I also heard you can use organic traffic If my sight gets redirected. What is the best way to do this while keeping everything in tact?

  Google friend connect as far as I know doesn’t work with WordPress.com.
