Switching from Blogger to WordPress and keeping the ads
-
Hi, I’d like to import my Blogger blog into WordPress.com’s Able Theme (free). I’d like to self-host on GoDaddy.com. My question: can I run my own ads on the Able theme if I self-host on GoDaddy? If not, can you please suggest a way to find a theme that will allow me to run ads?

You need to go to Go-Daddy and ask that question or post to the WordPress.org support forum http://wordpress.org/support/
WordPress.org and WordPress.com are completely separate. Read this please http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
. On this support forum we only provide support only for those with free hosted WordPress.com blogs like this one http://bonavitoproject2.wordpress.com/
There is only one advertising program called WordAds at WordPress.com and it’s for blogs on their own domains. This is the homepage for the WordAds program: http://www.wordads.co/ There you will find the application page as well as FAQs.
Aside from a blog being accepted into WordAds, no blogger initiated advertising, retailing or reselling the work or products created or services provided by anyone other than yourself is allowed on free hosted wordpress.com blogs. E-commerce transactions via shopping carts and the like cannot be conducted on free blogs from and being free hosted by wordpress.com
