Switching from Blogger to WordPress.com, and retaining SEO

I recently migrated from Blogger to WordPress.com, and I was able to import all my old blog posts into WordPress, but how do I transfer over SEO? And when someone searches for a specific post, how do I redirect them to that particular post (currently it just redirects to my homepage)? I know how to do this with WordPress.org, but not WordPress.com. Help!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can’t “transfer over” SEO. Some of it is your content, but a lot of it is the way the website is built; generally speaking, WP.com will be better than Blogger, at least until Google changes something else new.

On your old blogger site, do a javascript redirect to your new URL at WordPress.com. If you haven’t changed domains at all, please give us the URL of one of your Blogspot posts and the corresponding post on WordPress.com. There must be a discontinuity in the permalinks.

I have changed domains, I just purchased joshuawatts.me and redirected everything there. (How do I do a Javascript redirect?)

To give an example, one of my old Blogger posts is:
    joshwatts.blogspot.com/2013/02/top-20-easter-songs.html

The new link to the same post is:
    http://joshuawatts.me/2013/02/14/top-20-easter-songs/

But following the first Blogger link automatically takes you to the joshuawatts.me front page, instead of the corresponding page.

Right, you’re going to have to do a javascript redirect. There are lots of instructions online http://stackoverflow.com/questions/503093/how-can-i-make-a-redirect-page
