Hello there! You can certainly use your WordPress.com with your GoDaddy domain by mapping the two together. However, WordPress.com doesn’t accept incoming domain transfers. If you need some guidance with domain mapping, here are the details:

If I can help you through this process, please do let me know. Thank you! -
The domain expires with GoDaddy in a week. Is there another hosting site that you would recommend?

If you’re unhappy with GoDaddy as a domain host, you can take a look at the list of popular registrars that many of our users utilize for custom domain hosting:
BlueHost
DreamHost
Rackspace
Register.com
1and1
Yahoo
We can help you get mapped to your new registrar, once you’ve transferred your domain name. Best of luck with this!
