Switching from WordPress.com to my own hosting

  I made a blog on wordpress.com before realizing that I would have more options and control if I moved it to my own hosting. I already installed wordpress using the one click install dreamhost offers, but now I’m wondering if I can move what I’ve already done. Is there a way to tell the wordpress on my hosting (dream host) to grab the work i’ve done off wordpress.com? Can I download what I’ve done on wordpress.com and up it to my own host? Or do I have to start over again!

  Please advice!

  Export the content from the .com blog and import it into your new blog.
