Switching from wordpress.com to wordpress.org

We currently have a wordpress.com site, but we just purchased the Get Noticed theme and understand that it requires a wordpress.org site. How do we switch?

You can find instructions on switching over to WordPress.org software here:

You’ll need to setup your own hosting on a hosting platform like BlueHost or HostGator. Then, you can install WordPress.org software and import your content as described above.
