switching from wordpress.com to wordpress.org – how?
-
Hello there,
To answer your queries:
Once the 72-hour wait time is up and my name servers are pointed to Bluehost, can I install my new non-Wordpress theme (already purchased) onto my existing domain name (meaning, onto my blog)? Or do I have to wait until my domain name is registered with Bluehost – 13 days from now?
No need to wait through the 72 hours or 13 days to install a new theme. :) Once your domain is loading properly (which is the case on my end), you can go ahead and install the theme by going to Appearance -> Themes in your admin panel:
http://www.amandaklang.com/wp-admin/themes.php
And clicking on “Add New” found on top of the page.
For more instructions, please refer to this support page:

When the time comes to transfer your domain to another registrar, rest assured that your theme will not be affected during the process.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions. Good luck!
