Switching from wordpress.com to wordpress.org on the same domain

  Hi, there.

  I just transferred my domain (which I purchased through wordpress.com) to BlueHost. My intent was to switch to a wordpress.org blog. However, when I installed wordpress.org though BlueHost, my wordpress.com blog still came up. Even installing different blogs wouldn’t overwrite the wordpress.com blog. So, how do I get rid of this wordpress.com blog (or directly convert it into a wordpress.org blog)?

  I am seeing travisfort.com point correctly to your Bluehost site.

  It can take 24-48 hours for domain/DNS changes to propagate throughout the internet. It typically happens faster than that, but it really depends on your ISPs update frequency.
