switching google app MX to wordpress

  Hi. We recently set up a wordpress.com blog and transferred the domain from another hosting company to godaddy. We’ve always had google app for business email addresses. Since we made the switch, the email addresses aren’t receiving email. A google search tells me this is something to do with MX addresses, but I can’t find out how to fix that on WP. I called godaddy and they said I needed to do it over here. I’ve made it to the domain page where it asks for DNS records, but I can’t figure out what to do next. Any help in the right direction is appreciated. Thanks.

  And I found this help topic: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/mx-records-for-google-apps?replies=35 but it didn’t help me. When I try to get a verifcation code it says “Server error
  Sorry, you’ve reached a login page for a domain that isn’t using Google Apps. Please check the web address and try again.”
