  Hi there!
  I’m on the last couple of months with my Wix subscription. I’d like to switch to WordPress + upload a theme (already purchased from Flothemes), however I’d like to start building the new site and get it ready to go before I transfer my domain. How should I go about doing this?

  You can work on your free site https://mariarogersphotographycom.wordpress.com/ You can transfer your domain by upgrading the site to a paid plan when you’re ready. Note you can’t use themes purchased elsewhere on a WordPress.com site unless you upgrade to the Business plan.
