switching my domain to a weebly site
-
I made a website using Weebly and need to point my domain to their servers. Can you set this up or walk me through the process of making these changes? I need to change my A-Records for both ‘www’ and my root domain. That’s one record for http://www.mydomain.com pointing to 199.34.228.59. And one record for mydomain.com also pointing to 199.34.228.59.
If you need more info on these changes, please see:

Note that I want to keep using you as my domain registrar. I am not requesting a transfer and do not have new name servers to provide you.
Thanks!

Also, note that WordPress.COM blogs do not have permanent IP addresses. IP addresses here can and do can change over time and your domain may stop working if you rely on them. For more information about domain mapping and IP addresses please read https://en.support.wordpress.com/ip-addresses/
Rather than listing current IPs here, I’ll link back to this thread since it shows how to find them: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/whitelist-ips-1 From: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/what-is-your-ip?replies=11#post-2515044
Please also read what Staff said here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/ip-address-154?replies=3#post-2516882

Okay. When we need Staff help with issues Volunteers cannot resolve like this one we type modlook into the sidebar tags on our forum threads. I did that for you.
From the support docs: How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question Then we subscribe to this thread so we are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it.

Hi @bluebirdpostpartum, there was a record stuck that was still pointing to WordPress.com. I’ve removed that and added the proper A record for you. Give that about 4-6 hours for your system to recognize the changes, and you’ll be good to go. Cheers!
