Switching off Follow button

    Hi, I am trying to follow your Support on switching off the Follow button that appears on the bottom right hand corner of the screen, however, the instructions given do not seem to correspond to the actual dashboard. Has this been changed? Can you guide me through this? Thanks.

    2. I don’t like it. How can I turn it off on my blog? Easy. Go to your Dashboard. Click on Settings, then Reading, then Email. Sorry you don’t like it – but we understand. If you change your mind, this is also the place to go to customize the message new followers (subscribers) will see.

    Hi there, yes, the Action bar you see in the lower right corner of every WordPressdotcom site, which replaced the “Follow” button for logged out users, is persistent and cannot be turned off. It can be modified or hidden by adding some CSS to your site, but for that you need to upgrade to either the Premium or Business plan.
