Switching over from SquareSpace

  Hi there! I’m preparing for a much overdue move to WordPress from SquareSpace. I have an eco-friendly living and DIY blog that I’m very attached to and the process of moving over scares me half to death. Anyone have any tips, advice, lessons learned?

  Hey @reese220218,

  I found one article related to migrating your site from Squarespace to WordPress.com; It’s easy to migrate your site to WordPress.com.
  Simply you need to Click the Export button to start the export. You’ll see a progress bar while Squarespace is creating the export file. Once the export’s ready, click the Download button to save the XML file containing the contents of your site

  Now that you’ve downloaded your Squarespace content as an XML file, you’ll need to import it into your WordPress.com site.

  From your site’s dashboard choose the Import menu item:

  Now upload your XML file and click start import :).
