Switching Over from Wix

  Hello! We are looking at switching our current website over from Wix to WordPress. I’m wondering what the best option would be at this stage…
  We would like to keep everything on Wix for now, and build the WordPress site, and THEN switch the domain over once the WP site has been completed. That way we don’t have visitors going to a website under construction. What would be the best option for this?

  Hi, no problem. You’re welcome to create your new site with us before pointing the domain here. That way your current site can stay “live” until your new one is ready.

  I do recommend getting a plan earlier on if you’ll need it, since they have other features you might find useful, including direct support:

  Then just avoid using the domain options until you’re ready, and then you can map or transfer the domain.
