Switching Templates

  If I switch templates will my widget move over to the new template or will I have to redo all of them?

  it depends. if you move from a two-column theme to another two-column, the widgets will stay the same. if you move from a two-column to three-column, you’d have to rearrange them since you have 2 sidebars. if you move from a two-column to a one-column, some of your widgets may appear at the bottom of the page, and some may not. if you choose a theme that doesn’t support widgets then none or only some will show.

  that said, all your information in the widgets should be intact if you change themes.
