Switching to a blog for recreational purposes

  Hi, I would like to just have to pay for my domain and switch to just having a free blog, just for fun. Is this possible?

  To be able to use a custom domain you will need one of our paid plans:

  https://wordpress.com/support/plan-features/

  To keep a free site, you’d want to register a free .wordpress.com subdomain instead.
