Is it possible and easy to move the contents/layout/etc. from one domain to another on WordPress? E.g. from the .com to the .org domain?

WordPress.com themes are versions adapted to run only on free hosted WordPress.com blogs. They cannot be exported and inported into WordPress.org installs as the two run on different software. WordPress.com vs WordPress.org

If you can explain your intent, maybe a simpler answer can be posted exactly for that. I see you started a blog back on Feb 26 but have not made your first post, yet. I guess you are waiting to get things set up based on your intentions.
Do you want WordPress.COM to host your blog? Note that WordPress.ORG does not do so. How do you want your blog URL to appear? Right now you have “http://djrnfla.wordpress.com/“. If you want something like “http://djrnfla.org/” you can still have WP.COM host it, but the casual visitor won’t normally see that. For this you want the “domain mapping” feature which costs $12 per month, plus the cost of domain registration (WP can do that, too, for a little more). I did a search of several top level domains and your blog name appears to not be a registered name in any of those.
