Switching to a WordPress site
-
I started building websites in 1995 using Notepad. Fun stuff. I switched to Coffee Cup a few years back, but now it’s time to turn a few of my sites over to other people who don’t know html, php, or asp. WordPress looks like it could handle it and Hostgator offers WP as part of the package. What I can’t seem to find out is if I can create the new WP site in a subdirectory and then move it to the root when it’s polished. Is it just a move or is there some WP Sticky Magic that makes that difficult?
Odd to be a noob again. Thanks.

This is WordPress.com where you can easily create free sites in minutes. If you want to run the more complex WordPress.org software over at Hostgator you need to ask them for help or register an account to ask at the support forum for that software:
