Switching to Classic Editor on free plans
-
How do I switch back to Classic Editor on a free plan? AFAIK, installing the plugin requires a paid plan.
-
As an add-on, I have read through the guide on https://wpism.com/old-classic-wordpress-editor-disable-gutenberg/.
The site mentions a “Switch to Classic Editor” option in the individual post’s page which can be accessed after clicking on the three dots at the top right hand corner. I’ve tried that on a draft post, but I don’t see that option.
Would be nice if someone could help a buddy out here. Thanks.

Hi there,
To switch back to the classic editor, go to below link

Should have googled more, sorry!
Seems like this other issue explained everything: https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/new-free-plan-site-no-option-to-switch-editor/

I think it’s because my account is newly created – the “Switch to Classic Editor” does not appear for me on my posts.
