  How do I switch from CC5 to WordPress?
  Our current organization site is on CC5, we are having difficulties with it and would like to move to a better platform.
  Will we still be able to keep our web site name- jci-gardena.org?
  How do I switch over?
  Will we have to pay a huge fee?
  Can I just combine our current blog to the new site?

  I think you ought to start by reading the comparison I link to below because a self-hosted WordPress site might be right for you. WordPress.org offers free software that you can install on a web server. You can upload and install themes and plugins, run ads, conduct ecommerce and edit the database.
