Switching user names

  I have two WordPress.com accounts, with different usernames and email addresses. One account is more or less unneeded by me, but had the username I want. I changed that username to something else, then tried to change the other account to the username I wanted. Apparently the name is still considered ‘taken’. Is there any possibility to make this happen?
