  trying to find sydney theme. I can find it in google and even download it from your site but its not on the list within the platform I am using. Everything so hard with wordpress

  WordPressdotcom users can activate any of the 350+ free and premium themes shown in our Theme Showcase https://wordpress.com/themes/ and our site dashboard, but cannot upload any other 3rd party theme. You can learn more about this here:

  You mentioned “download it from your site.”

  There are two flavors of WordPress. WordPressdotcom (where we are) is a hosted platform using a highly adapted version of the WP software. The standalone WP software can be downloaded and used on any host or server. You can learn more about these differences here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  Ok, that may clear up some confusion. Would it be feasable to use that Sydney theme at wordpress.com? Is there a way to move it and would that cause any problems? Thanks

  Move it from where to where? Sydney is not available here on WordPressdotcom nor can you upload it to your WordPressdotcom site.

  If you want to use that theme specifically, you’ll need to move your current WordPressdotcom site to a web provider that offers WordPress. The tradeoff is that you do need to have more technical chops to run a standalone install

  However, there are many business themes here that are similar to Sydney. Have a look at these:
