  Hi there,

  Sydney is a WordPress.ORG theme. WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  You cannot upload any third party or custom themes into a WordPress.COM hosted site unless you have a Business Plan http://wordpress.com/pricing

  The Business upgrade includes:
  • Google analytics
  • Footer Credit Options https://en.support.wordpress.com/footer-credits/
  • SEO Tools https://en.support.wordpress.com/seo-tools/
  • The ability to install most plugins https://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/ including woocommerce and the ability to install third party themes. https://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/#uploading-custom-themes

  If you do have Business plan upgrade you can access live chat support. When Staff are not available for live chat at https://wordpress.com/help/contact you create a thread here. Then you type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up.
