Syncing two-step authentication with iPhone for .com site
-
I finally figured out my Two Step Authentication code generator app to use to access my site from my laptop, but when I tried to access my mobile site, I was asked to configure an application-specific password. I try to follow the instructions to enable the XML-RPC protocol (Dashboard>Settings>Writing). There is no such protocol to enable for .com sites. What can I do to allow me full editorial access to my mobile site?
I tried to find a similar thread before adding this question. If this question has already been addressed, please direct me to that thread.
Thanks for any help on this,

You don’t need to enable xml-rpc for that, just generate an app-specific password from https://wordpress.com/settings/security/ and use that in place of your normal password in you mobile app.

Thank you macmanx and timethief!
I had to delete the app I already had and reload to get it to work, but all seems right now.
I appreciate the quick response.
