  Okay, so this is probably obvious, but I’ve searched for an explanation and can’t find it. What are “syndicated views” of my posts, verses “on-site views”? Is it just people using a reader (e.g. Google reader) rather than coming right to my site?
  Anyone fill me in?

  Yes, that’s what it is. It’s people reading your RSS feed instead of coming to the blog via a web browser.
