Syndication with FB

Hi
I created a post today https://tikulicious.wordpress.com/2018/06/01/2-ingredient-banana-and-dates-ice-cream/ and the link got shared automatically to my FB profile and page but the title sais NO PAGE FOUND. I deleted it and deleted the networkedblog widget. Disconnected and reconnected the fb share option. Again tried via the share button and by copy pasting the url but nothing has changed. I have not yet connected the FB button. Please guide me how to share the posts to FB esp this new one.

Hi @tikulicious, I’m not seeing where this one was shared automatically to Facebook, at least not through our system. Were you using something else to auto share? Also, it looks like you have connected Facebook now (after sharing). That will automatically share new posts going forward.
Re: Page not Found on the link you shared another way, usually we’ll see that if you posted one link, but then changed the link to something else later. I’d recommend deleting that Facebook post, if possible, and posting again with the correct link (the one you’ve shared here)

Thanks for responding. I am sorry I was away and couldn’t share earlier that I managed to resolve the issue. It seems that I changed ‘two’ to ‘2’ in the heading and the url didn’t change somehow even though it was saved. when I clicked on edit url and copied it worked and the main url changed to. earlier it showing some number.
I am now able to share it via the share button too.
Will check the publicize button tomorrow when I post a new blog post.

@tikulicious ah, yeah – changing the URL after sharing will definitely make the links break, but you can update or replace the links on Facebook and what not.
