Syntax Error

    I’ve just tried to open my site to continue development and received the following message:
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘.’, expecting ‘,’ or ‘;’ in /home2/(nameremoved)/public_html/wp-content/plugins/optinmonster/OMAPI/Api.php on line 19
    I have absolutely no knowledge of coding and have not changed or played with optinmonster. I followed the online tutorials about going into CPanel and adjusting the code in File Manager as per the error message (trial and error with the ‘,’ and ‘;’ but it just lead to other error messages. I’ve restored the original ‘.’
    As someone who knows nothing of coding, I have nowhere to turn. Keep someone please assist? Many thanks.

    You use the self-hosted WordPress version and your website is hosted on Bluehost.

    We’re only able to help with the websites hosted on WordPress.com.

    You can either contact your web hosting customer support or submit your query to WordPress.org forums.

    For which, you need to have a WordPress.org account.
    https://login.wordpress.org/register

    WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different platforms.
