Syntax Error in Event plugins

  Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/content/47/8303347/html/wp-admin/includes/upgrade.php on line 1727

  This is the error message I’m receiving when I tried to update my Events Made Easy plugin. And it is the same message received when trying to activate any events plugin.

  I don’t know where to fix this problem….help!
