Syntax Theme mobile version
-
Hello, I’m using the Syntax Theme by Automattic and I am having issues with the mobile view. When viewing my site on mobile devices it says the nav button for the site menu doesn’t work and at the bottom of the page it shows a button that says, “Exit Mobile Version”. When I click that button the site refreshes and while everything looks the same (still responsive for the smaller screen width), but then the nav button for the site menu works. Why does the menu stop working in the mobile view? Is there a way to disable this Mobile view feature and just let the site be responsive on a mobile device?

I think I figured it out I got rid of the button but now there is a %%footer%% at the bottom of the mobile view.

Never mind now the menu doesn’t work at all. I think my theme is incompatible with AMP or something.

I got it. In the AMP settings, I set it back to transitional and then in the Other tab I unchecked “Redirect mobile visitors to AMP”, and that removed the “mobile version”
