  You don’t have to worry about that since you are on a WordPress.com blog.

  WordPress.com is already running the latest stable version of WordPress a full month in advance of it being released to WordPress.org users. Here all upgrades are done by Staff so if you are referring to a free hosted WordPress.com blog then as geot says you don’t need to worry about this at all.
