Tab labels

On the top of a page on the website is the name of the tab. For instance, the home page has “HOME” on the first line of the page. Is there a way to remove it and still leave the tab with its label?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • I’m not sure that I understand completely. Are you looking to remove the “home” tab and leave the others?

    @ hekhal,
Do you mean to remove the page title? You can remove page titles and still retain the header area navigation tabs if you are using a custom menu. However, the absence of a page title will be reflected in the page tab, which will only contain the website name instead of “Page Title” | “Website Name.”

No. The tabs for the website are named. But when you click one of the tabs, say “contact” to go to that page the word “contact” also appears within the body of the page. How do I get rid of it from the body of the page?

It will work, not to worry. :)

    @ hekhal,

I tested this on my primary website. After removing the title of a page I used a custom menu link to access that page. The title did not display in the body of the text. Therefore, the effect you describe must be theme dependent. Or perhaps I am misunderstanding what you are saying.
