table background color
-
Hi. I have created a table for the text within one of my posts. The problem is with the table background color. The code I’m using is not working for the background color.
I used a color picker to check the background color that is showing. It is #ddd905. The color I want is #d8d3ce. This is my code for the table:
<tbody>
<tr>
<td>Every child has known God,Not the God of names,
Not the God of don’ts,
Not the God who never does
Anything weird,
But the God who knows only 4 words
And keeps repeating them, saying:
“Come Dance with Me.”
“Come Dance.”
— Hafiz</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>Thanks for the help.

You’re welcome, @jhanajian2 :)
Okay, looks like that did it.
Try with this code:
<table style="width: 350px; height: 450px; background-color: #d8d3ce"> <tbody> <tr> <td>Every child has known God, Not the God of names, Not the God of don'ts, Not the God who never does Anything weird, But the God who knows only 4 words And keeps repeating them, saying: "Come Dance with Me." "Come Dance." -- Hafiz</td> </tr> </tbody> </table>Note that the attribute is background-color, not bgcolor.
