Hi there<
Create a page and then set up page jump links. https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/
Links to specific points on a page http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/08/01/links-to-specific-points-on-a-page/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/page-jumps/Lastly create a custom menu and add your Table of Contents Page into it.

Using a custom menu and including category pages in it, rather then creating a Table of Contents page may also be another helpful approach. https://en.support.wordpress.com/category-pages/
We organize posts by assigning Categories to them and when we publish the software automatically displays the posts on dynamic (continually updating) Categories pages. Once you create a Category and assign it to your posts, you can create a custom menu and add the Category page to your custom menu. Then each time you publish a post with that Category assigned to it the post will display on the dynamic Category page.

Thxs this are great tips for the newbie to WP. Can you share an example of that this might look like to the public. I want to ensure its easy to the audience to find my blogs. thxs

If you want to see a table of contents in a page with jump links, I’ve got that at my blog. You’ll see a tab marked “Table of Contents,” so you can’t miss it. But you need to add a link each time you post. It’s not automatically maintained, like a Categories widget.

Thxs, I see how you did it, very cool. I am learning. I have a simple menu at the top which are categories so I can just tag my posts with a category and I think I will then have some organization. I’m just getting started, no posts yet other than a simple welcome so not out of control yet. I see I can add media to a post. I want to add a music video or just music file. My question is, will that music play while people read my blog?
