Table of Contents

  I have a small wordpress.com page and I was wondering if you can get a table of contents put into a blog post. Perhaps like the ones here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/page-jumps/#jump

  I have searched the forums, but the only hits I get are for new plugins. Any suggestions?

  Hi there,

  The documentation page you linked above is exactly how you can create a table of contents (using id and #) here on WordPress. Is there anything I can help you with implementing it?

  I reposted here as the last reply I saw told me too. After reading though it all I understand how to create them. Is there no way to do this automatically? Is it all manual?

  No automatic way as far as I can tell.
