Table of Contents not showing up on home page
-
I just created a Table of Contents for this site:
https://mountainbranchvetqa.wordpress.com/The actual TOC is here:
https://wordpress.com/page/mountainbranchvetqa.wordpress.com/309I refreshed the home page, but as you can see, the Table of Contents is not showing up with the other two Pages on the home page, yet it shows up when I click on Pages in the left-hand menu.
I must be doing something wrong, but I can’t figure it out.
Thanks.

Hi,
I cannot access this https://wordpress.com/page/mountainbranchvetqa.wordpress.com/309 as it might be specific to the user(you in this case) and I am a member.
The below link might help?
https://wordpress.com/support/post-vs-page/
Posts are entries listed in reverse chronological order on your site. Think of them as articles or updates that you share to offer up new content to your readers.
Pages are static and are not affected by date. Think of them as more permanent fixtures of your site — an About page, a Contact page, and a Home page are great examples of this. You may also have a Blog page which is used to display your posts!

I have three Pages in the website I posted. Two of them show, the last one does not. The two pages that show on my website were created before you changed the process of creating pages, so you know how long ago that was. I created the TOC page using your new protocol. All the links on the new Page works, at least the ones I tested. The Page is present when I click on the Pages option in the website. The new one under the new protocol doesn’t show up. I’m not sure what you’re referring when you mentioned blogs. My other websites, which also contain TOCs, all mention them on their respective websites, but they, too, were created before the new Page creation protocol.

Can you try this –
Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customise -> Menus.Add a menu name
Add pages to it (In this case TOC)In addition, I have tagged staff.
Happy to help!

Hi,
More clearly, select Home menu after you traverse through Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customise -> Menus, add TOC page to it.
I hope it works.
Happy to help!

Hi there, shwetharmaiya is correct here, you just need to add the page to the menu by following the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/menus/add-links-to-a-menu/#add-menu-items-in-the-customizer
Please let us know if you have any more questions!

Thanks. My Table of Contents menu doesn’t show up. It wants me to create a brand new menu after I have created 50-60 links in the one I’ve already created. Hopefully it will allow me to just copy and paste my original menu into this one, if I can find it, that is.

Okay, thanks. I got it to work with my Boone Family History page, but it only had six posts. Yes! I got it to work for my large TOC. Thanks very much. I need to save that page because I’ll for get for sure.
