  I would really like a tables plug-in. HTML doesn’t cut it and my tables are all over the place – despite adding code as recommended in the help forum and stack overflow.

  I would also like a tables plug-in. I’m looking to build a catalog of information that is very long, and a table would make it easier for readers to view.

  The plug-in I have found that I like the most is: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-table/installation/

  I think this is something a lot of users would benefit from, and I would like it to be automatically available.

  The best advice I have read is to make the table in Google Sheets and then paste into WordPress. I haven’t been able to fix the column widths, but the tables look pretty good. Once you have pasted in a table it is really easy to make a new row in the ‘text’ editor.
