  Is TablePress available for wordpress.com? If not will it be anytime soon?

  TablePress is a plugin, and plugins are only supported on self hosted WordPress sites.

  There are 2 versions of WordPress. What happens here at WordPress.com is a bit different from the installation of WordPress for self hosted sites. This guide outlines those differences: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
