Tables and Blogs
-
On a Twenty Eleven page, how can I have both a place for blog posts and a table with clickable images on the same page?
I want blog posts to be put at the bottom of this. I was thinking, is there a widget to go in the footer, or am I just missing something obvious?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If I understand correctly, you want the images on your front page (book, online course, author/instructor) to be at the top of the page and have your blog posts appear underneath that.
One thing you can try is to not use a static page for your front page. Instead, put your latest posts on the front page and make a sticky post with the images you want to keep at the top.
As long as that post is sticky, it will stay at the top and your most recent blog posts will show up underneath it.

The above is correct, except the part about the static front page. If you do that, the grid will not be on the first page people see when they go to your blog.
You will have to write the table in HTML, and in each cell put an image and link the image to whatever destination page you want for that.

I think I got it, thank you again. The link to the Twenty Eleven specs was helpful because it turns out that this this Theme is designed to combine dynamic and static content in the way I had in mind. I appreciate your help!
